My next book, The Great Team Turnaround, is out today!
And I hope you'll consider buying a copy :)
Hi friends!
I’m just a bit excited that my next book, The Great Team Turnaround, is out today!
I hope you’ll consider buying a copy (and if you really like me, you’ll consider leaving an Amazon review - reviews help tremendously!). The first week of sales gives a book the best chance of becoming an Amazon bestseller, which is why I’d love for you to pick your copy up today!
Some questions you might have:
Uh, great that you wrote a book and you want me to buy a copy, but…what’s it about?
Oh, right, it might be important to share what the book is actually about :) My first book (The 5-Day Turnaround) was focused on leading like an entrepreneur, and the second (The Crisis Turnaround) was focused on leading during a crisis. This book is chock full of everything I’ve learned over the last 20 years about building successful teams.
All the books are part of my series: The Turnaround Leadership Series. (And book 4 is in the works and it will focus on building an undeniable culture.)
Does this book follow the same cast of characters as the first two books?
It sure does! I write my books in a narrative style, which means they are story-driven with fictional characters helping bring to life the concepts. In this book, we still have most of the old gang (including Will, Charles, and Rachel) and also some newbies, including Megan Scott (named after two of my favorite friends in business) and the first introduction of a real person, Jack Stack (CEO of SRC and The Great Game of Business).
Did the stuff in the book really happen to you, or is it all fictional?
While I write in a narrative, fiction-like style, most of what the characters in the book experience are things that I have personally experienced. So the book is definitely a look into my life as an entrepreneur.
How long does it take you to write these books?
I usually work on the overall concept of the book for months, outlining what I want it to include and how it will flow. Once I’m ready to start, my process is to write each day (for several hours, but my rule is a minimum of 15 minutes) until the first draft is complete. Then it takes six to nine months to edit and fully produce the book.
Can I buy the books as a bundle?
Glad you asked :) They’re available as a bundle on Kindle if you’re interested!
Anything else I need to know about the book?
Hmm, well there’s a sassy robot, a trip to Ireland, several walk-and-talks, a destroyed Barbie convertible, and a whole bunch of learning and growing (and conflict) by the cast of characters. I think you’ll like it 😎
The Point
I’m extremely proud of the work that our entire team put into this book, and I really do hope you’ll try it out. I head out to Dallas today to give a talk at The Great Game of Business annual conference, and I’d love to make that trip already knowing we have a best-seller on our hands 🎉
Thanks for all your support!!!
I hope you’re happy,
Jeff
