Six books you should read before the end of the year
Hello friends,
This weather! It just about makes the summers in Atlanta worth it. I hope you can spend some good quality time outside (because I know you aren’t filling your calendar too much, right?)
Also, maybe consider putting a Bird Buddy on your holiday present list. It's a bird feeder with a built-in camera that captures your little buddies as they stop for a bite to eat. It's so much fun (and yes, I realize I'm acting more than my 48-year-old age with this one, but you have to trust me.) Here are a few shots mine picked up recently:
I promise they do not sponsor me or anything, just a huge fan 🕊️🐦⬛😁
If you're not feeling happy today...

Six books you should read before the end of the year
I’m a sucker for a good book, and y’all know I love me some books (I write them, publish them, and read the pants off of them.) Below are six books that I think you should consider reading before the end of the year.
If you want to read a book that tugs at your heartstrings (and your funny bone):
I’m Glad My Mom Died by Jennette McCurdy (consider listening to this one)
If you want to learn at the hands of one of the all-time smartest people:
Poor Charlie’s Almanack by Charlie Munger
If you want to begin your journey into the world of Stephen King:
Carrie by Stephen King (his first published novel, 50 years ago!)
Bonus: You could also try his new short story book, You Like It Darker
If you want to understand why the world is the way it is (and how it basically always has been):
The Lessons of History by the Durants
If you want to laugh a lot (this is also one I highly recommend listening to):
I Must Say by Martin Short
If you want to dive into something really meaningful:
The Master Plan by Chris Wilson
If you have a book you’d like me to consider reading before the end of the year, please share!
As always, I hope you’re happy.
